What We're Looking For
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Data Entry Contractor to join our team on a contractual basis. The ideal candidate will accurately source, input and update data across various platforms while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to deadlines. This is a remote/temporary position with the potential for future project-based opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Input, update, and verify data in specified systems, databases, or spreadsheets.
  • Perform quality control checks to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the data.
  • Organize and maintain files and records for easy retrieval and reference.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and in compliance with company policies.
  • Meet daily/weekly data entry quotas and project deadlines.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to resolve data discrepancies or inconsistencies.
  • Follow instructions and workflows provided by supervisors or project managers.

About You

  • High school diploma or equivalent (bachelor's degree preferred but not required).
  • Proven experience in data entry or a related field.
  • Excellent typing speed and accuracy (e.g., 50+ WPM preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and/or Google Workspace tools.
  • Familiarity with data entry software or CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, ZoomInfo) is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a remote or freelance environment.
  • Familiarity with data security best practices.
  • Availability for flexible hours based on project needs.

This is a three month long contracted position with an average of 30-35 hours weekly. Potential few 40 hour weeks during peak conference season (April/May).

  • Hourly Rate: $16.50 - $20/ hour
  • Anticipated Weekly Hours: 30
