Full Job Description

Overview: The New York Giants are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Assistant for Events & Gameday Operations. This position will assist all areas of Giants Event Operations, Game Presentation and Fan Engagement efforts including the planning, logistics and execution of both large, small and virtual Giants events and gamedays. Ideal candidates should be passionate about sports and providing exceptional fan experiences while working in a fast-paced environment. This is a seasonal, full time, nonexempt position, expected to begin in mid-April and continue through the end of the football season.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning and execution of game day and special events for Giants Season Ticket Members, fans, and corporate partners
  • Prepare for and assist stadium game presentation, which includes the coordination of live talent, guests, on-field presentation, staging, sponsor activations, game production and fan integration
  • Develop a logistical plan prior to each event including credentials, talent travel, in-venue branding, planning menus, preparing invitations, maintaining registrations, and helping with various tasks associated with the event
  • Administration of the Jr. Giants Kids Club including scheduling and coordinating events, all promotional materials, database management, and fulfillment
  • Assist with management of gameday staff, including scheduling, communication, etc.
  • Support event operations including vendor load-in, signage, giveaways, catering, partner activation, registration and hospitality
  • Work closely with game-day and full-time staff members to ensure quality production and operations are met
  • Support various departments in the organization and contribute to the overall guest experience
  • Bachelor's Degree Required
  • 2 – 3 years prior experience in sports or live entertainment is required
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to efficiently work on multiple projects at once
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); preferred candidates will have some proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, professionalism, and customer service
  • Team player attitude and willing to jump in wherever necessary
  • Candidates must be available to work all home games, occasional weekends and some holidays as needed. Expected 40 hours per week plus possible extended hours, including some nights and weekends
